~*~Dust.exe. error message at startup~*~

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Scott D. Weber For Unuathorized Thoughts Inc., Dec 7, 2003.

  1. The other day ago during a virus scan my PC found a virus and it couldn't
Quarantine it. After look at more details about that scan I seen that it was
located in my window/system32 file. so I thought that it would hurt if I
just deleted it and rescan for in and see what it would find. Come to find
out that the rescan didn't find anything. I remember that find that I
deleted that day was named dust.exe. so now everytime that I start my PC I
get an error message saying that "Windows conot find 'dust.exe.' Make sure
you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file,
click the Start button, and click search." When I do this I don't find
anything. And my PC seem to run just fine...please help me and explain WTF
    is going on with this

    thanks ahead of time

    SDW
