Drive letters after removing 2nd HDD?

    I have 2 HDD's with multiple partitions.

    Disk 1: C (Primary), K, L, M, N & O
    Disk 2: E, F, G, H & I

    What happens to the drive letters if I remove Disk 2, I may be replacing it
    with a much larger one?

    Depends on your OS.
    Since I'm missing D I suppose you've NT, W2000 of XP.
    Then nothing will happen.
    If you've got 9x or ME, all logical partitions on disk 1 will slide down to
    D->

    Thanks for the reply, am using XP Pro, D & J are DVD and DVDRW drives
    respectively.
