    hi,

i've been using firefox for at least a year now, and i'm loving it. Since
a couple of month, i've switched to Linux (now using Fedora Core 3), and
    i'm experiencing a strange behaviour:
when i download something (using the standard download manager), it
(i.e. firefox or fedora) produces a file with an additional extension.
Downloading an mp3 file will result in a file called "*.mp3.mp3" an rpm
will be called "*.rpm.rpm" and so on and so forth.
What is happening? What am i doing wrong and how can i get rid of it?
    thanks in advance!
