Dimage A1 and Sandisk 512 Ultra II save speed

    Just bought the 512 MB compact flash sandisk ultra II card
    My previous card is the plain old sandisk 512 card
    Checking the writing (saving)speed I found NO DIFFERENCE between these
    two cards!!!!!!!!!!
    i.e. in tiff format both cards spend 18 sec to save the image to card
    Did any Dimage user make any tests?
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Or the camera does not have the capability to save fast the images to
    card?
