Deleting incorrect prefill form entries

When I start to type my e-mail address on many forms, a drop down box
offers me 2 choices, one of which contains an incorrect address. I
can of course select it and then edit the choice. However this does
not change the two choices I am always offered - the incorrect one
    stays in the list.

How can I delete the bad entry so it doesn't keep popping up as a
choice? Delte and shift delete (as in deleting history) don't work.
    FF 1.5.0.9
    TIA
    Jim

  2. Hover over the selection to highlight it (don't click) and press Delete.
