    Absolutely no Belkins though.

Very reliable and plays nicely in a mixed Windows and Linux system.

I have a Draytek Vigor 2820n which does pretty well "what it says on
the box", that includes having a USB port which can be used for
putting a printer on the network. I did use it to do that and it
worked OK. I no longer use the USB port for a printer because I have a
second ADSL connection now and I'm sharing my two ADSLs using the USB
on the 2820n as its second WAN.

Well that's a couple of votes in favour of the Draytek. Must admit its
    not one I've used.

They're a bit more expensive than most, though not by a huge amount, I
guess that's why they're not so common/popular. Their support is
quite good in my experience, I've E-Mailed them a couple of times with
queries (one about intricacies of setting up load balancing) and
they've come back within a reasonable time with helpful replies.

One thing I've learned over the years is that a few quid more for decent
kit usually saves far more than the difference in grief and headaches.
Interesting to see that there's 3G dongle support now with a firmware
update. Being on Entanets Sheffield node, the ability to unplug the
printer and stick in my dongle (calm down you dirty minded lot) is worth
    quite a lot.

My Vigor 2820n is connected to Entanet too.

One *minor* negative about the 2820n is that it doesn't get as much
speed out of the connection as does my BT Business Hub (2Wire 2700HGV)
though that 2Wire is known for getting the best out of things. On two
near enough identical connections the 2820n usually manages around
3Mb/s whereas the 2Wire does about 4Mb/s most of the time.

Many thanks for that Brian. Still not got round to getting one so
there's a nice list there to choose from.
