Has anyone experienced any problems accessing a green/black Datawrite 2X

Two of mine cannot be accessed once they have been written to. For
instance, a .txt file cannot be opened at all due to an 'incorrect path
specification' and if an mp3 file is accessed, instead of the corresponding
file being played a totally different mp3 will be played that is in the
compilation, starting from the middle of the song.

I have tested all of the other possible causes and all the evidence
basically points to the media itself.

    Any ideas/comments?

I've never had any luck with DVD-RW at all, every single one i've tried has
failed to work in some respect. Datawrite/Datasafe/White Label, all write
once then thats it, can't erase it and 8 times outta 10 cant access anything
thats on them either. DVD-R work fine.

I constantly test and re-use the pioneer DVD-RW in 1x and 2x without any
    problems whatsoever.

    My setup is

    P4, 2.0ghz
    Windows XP
    Nero v.
    Pioneer A05 burner.

I can write to the newer DVD-RW's @ 2x, and when i need to format them, i
    just use nero's quick erase.

    Try it... hope it helps.
