Database connection issues when trying to link mysql to the cloud

Hi all, hope this is the correct forum... I'm having some trouble while checking out dbs in the cloud. I've set up a mysql cloud environment, and I'm trying to connect another remote db to this one. The problem is I keep getting access denial errors (this works when both dbs have been initially set up on the cloud). Any help would be appreciated! --Frances
