D7000 before you buy it, try it in your hand

Maybe it's completely personal, but the grip it has just does not feel
good. The D90 grip though somewhat cramped compared to more expensive
Nikons was ok, the D300/s grip is very good, but Nikon made the grip
edge too sharp and too small on the D7000. I know size reduction is
all the rage today, but this should not detract from comfort if at all
possible. The camera really isn't that small to begin with so I
figured the grip could be made a little more friendly. Another
example of this is the Sony. The NEX 3 actually feels better than the
NEX 5 even though it is a cheaper model because the grip is more
rounded, less severe. The NEX 5 however is an exercise in very small
    camera to sensor ratios.

After a couple of hours' shooting, you will get used to it.

I think you need to get a grip on reality.
