I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix 3700 camera. It is a good camera
overall. It is not as good as I would like too about the low light
sensitivity and flash rage but it is an ok point and shot camera. I tried to
do night shot landscape picture. In the manual it is stated that the maximum
shutter speed is 4 seconds. But I never was able to get more than 2 seconds.
Even if I put the camera in full darkness (by covering the lens with my hand
for example) and crank the exposure to +2.0, still I am getting only 2
second. I have looked on some sample from a couple of review site on this
camera and they all have 2 seconds of exposure in low light situation. I
just wonder if the specs of the camera are reliable (typo in the manual?).
