Cisco MPLS tunnel re-optimization criteria

    Anyone can provide details on what constraints are used when doing
    global reoptimization of MPLS tunnels. Do they do it the J// way too.
    There isnt much available on this in public domain. They always refer
    to better path, optimal path, but what do they mean by better path is
    not known.
    appreciate help on this,

    A better path means a path that satisfied the requirements and has the best IGP cost, if there is a tie the path with higher min bandwidth is used if still a tie the path with the least number of hops is used or the CISCO IOS will choose one for you.

    This is the path selection by CSPF in general, hope it clarifies your confusion a little bit
