New to Cisco operations. Been using Zyxel Prestige 100IH ISDN router. works fine. Decided to try a Cisco unit. I have it programmed properly for the DN's and SPIDS, analog lines work fine on system. LAN addressing seems to work fine, responds to pings from network and pings to outside addresses force the router to dial out. Here's the problem. I keep getting a message "call is not ISDN end to end, trying 56K". and the router never connects. If I take out the ISDN line and plug it back in to the Zyxel, everything works fine.. No one has a clue what that message means or what to do about it... I have the Cisco dialing the same ISP access number as the Zyxel, and it's alternates, all get the same response... just in case, I got a second 760 and tried it, got the same message... stumped... anyone have any ideas?
