I am trying to figure out it my Cisco Aironet 350 Access Point
automatically rebroadcasts UDP packets. I am running some tests and
need to know if it is rebroadcasting, and if so, if rebroadcasting can
be turned off. Also, does this change if the AP is set up as a
repeater instead of a root AP?

My second question is if the AP can tell the difference between TCP
    and UDP packets.

Thanks in advance for the help...

  2. There is no difference between UDP and TCP with regard to
broadcasts. Broadcast is a L2 property.

If you have a broadcast frame on the wired side, it will get sent
on the wireless side too, this is a requirement of all bridges.
