Can you export/import "cookie exceptions"

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Captain Infinity, Jun 24, 2008.

  1. A friend of mine was messing with his settings and hit "remove all" in
    Options->Cookies->Exceptions.

    Is there a way to get all those default exceptions (blocked cookies) back? Is
    it possible to export the exceptions from my own system and then import them
    into his?

  2. all your cookie info is stored in one of two files:
    cookies.txt or hostperm.1. So, just backup those two files.

    Can you replace them? Good question. Try it and see what
    happens. Do it with the program close first.
