Hi I would appreciate some help on this one. I have Norton Internet\nSecurity Installed on my PC running Win98. It keeps telling me that a\nprogram called buddy.exe is attempting to connect to the internet, I do not\ngive it permission to do so and Norton Keeps popping up with the message\nevery now and again. I searched my hard drives for buddy and it found 2.\n\nOne is buddy.exe located in C:\WINDOWS and the other is buddy.lgc and it is\nlocated in C:\WINDOWS\APPLOG.\n\nNow another strange this is, I deleted both of these files several times,\nbut they keep returning within a short space of time.\n\nI always keep my Norton up to date with the latest updates and virus\nsignatures and this isn't picking anything up.\n\nI also downloaded Adaware from Lavasoft, this isn't picking anything up\neither, so I downloaded Spybot search and destroy. This isn't finding\nanythis suspicious either.\n\nSo as you can see I would really appreciate some help.\n\nWhen I look at the properties of buddy.exe it says in the Company Name\nsection "Direct Revenue".\n\nIn the meantime I have stopped it connectiong to the internet permanently\nthrough Nortons "Always use this action" option.\n\nI just can't get rid of the little bugger.......HELP!
