Boot process for Windows 2000.

    Go to the command prompt and type HELP at the root and you
    will be able to see what all those commands do. MD- make
    directory, RD, remove directory, CD change directory, EDIT
    will do just what it says TYPE will do just what is says
    also. Now you type HELP in the command prompt window and
    see for yourself what the others do. As far as the PC
    boot process go to google and do a search on POST or Power
    On Self Test and that should have links to the entire
    process. Or go to a bookstore and read a book on PC
    maintainance. It will be in there as well. Just do some
    research the aswers are out there.
