    You do know you're not supposed to cook with extra virgin olive oil - it
    burns at relatively low temperatures and takes on carcinogenic

    Use groundnut or animal fats - goose fat would be good.

  6. Yeah, I don't know where that came from. I don't use oil on my steaks,
    just butter, if even that. I sometimes use extra-virgin olive oil to
    cook if only for short time (say, mixing a little garlic into it and
    then tossing some pasta in over low heat).
