Just today whenever I leave my computer for awhile I come back and there
will be 1 or more empty boxes on the taskbar depending on how long my
computer sits idle which say screensaver on them..... I have loaded two new
programs on my computer and was wondering if and how I could determine which
one is causing this problem.... or how I can fix the problem..... the two
programs are Microsoft Access and a program called Electronic Workbench
which was in the back of my school textbook ( it is a simple drawing program
    for drawing electronic parts)
    Any ideas....... thanks
Has anyone ever had this problem of an empty application box just appearing
out of nowhere on your Taskbar?

Disable your screen saver? Also, try uninstalling Electronic
Workbench if disabling screen saver makes no difference.

As a last resort, scan your system:

    Spybot Search & Destroy

    Spyware Blaster

    Online Antivirus scanners:

    ** Caveat:

    Anti-virus programs:
    eZ Antivirus (Computer Associates)

    Vet (Computer Associates)

    KAV (Kaspersky)

    Norman Virus Control

    Control your startups:

    Startup Monitor

    Startup Control Panel

Check what's necessary and what isn't

Maybe it's an old 16 bit program. Why didn't you try disabling
your screensaver, as suggested? Screensavers often clash with
other software, and are not needed on desktop computers.
