Best DVD of "My Favourite Brunette"?

Discussion in 'DVD Video' started by Stephen Cooke, Sep 26, 2004.

  1. One of the most common public domain titles, I'd like to get a decent
looking copy of Bob Hope's My Favourite Brunette. There are tons of
different version on eBay, priced from 99 cents to 10 dollars. Money isn't
key, picture quality is the priority.

There are even Region 2 versions, including an Australian two-disc set
that includes MFB with Hope's Ninotchka remake with Katharine Hepburn, The
Iron Petticoat which has never been on video in North America (and
    reportedly it's not very good.)

    Anyone have a recommendation?

I've seen two of the P.D. editions.

    Alpha's is ghastly beyond belief.

BFS's "American Treasures" double-feature of ROAD TO BALI and MFB
isn't mind-blowing, but it's good enough to keep me from looking

    I concur.

Some stores (ie, DDDVD) have this listed as "Best of Bob Hope". The
    catalog number is 81772.
