Just this minute(ok all freakin day) I'm a bit overwhelmed,
    depressed, confused about
my future internet service , to the place I'm moving to shortly . I've
been looking around online and calling around. So far I've determined
that I cannot get comcast high speed, which is what I'm used to, and
my wife is used to for gaming. Also, that we can get dsl service
through at&t but don't yet know what speed. Also that , basically,
    satellite internet services ... suck.
Starband seemed like it was trhe least offensive but not that good or
fast, and has a cap that sucks. We're hoping Time Warner will service
our area, but the Time Warner site steered me to Comcast . I don't
really have a specific question for this group, sorta just venting
frustration, but am certainly open to input. I'm ok with whatever but
my wife ... wife without WoW ... not good...

If you can find ADSL, take it, as it is better than nothing.
The caps placed on wireless concepts (satellite or otherwise),
make them unattractive for any real usage.
