avoid sending pictures within email

  1. Hello. I am running Mozilla 1.2. I have a personalized stationery in the
    Template folder, which is an HTML mail with a logo on the buttom. The
    logo is actually a <img src="http://my.orgnization.org/logo">.

    The problem is, when I send a mail composed from this stationery
    (template), mozilla download the logo from my website and actually
    attached it in the email. So the <img
    src="http://my.orgnization.org/logo"> comes to be something like <img
    src="cid:p">.

    This is bad because the logo from my website is generated dynamicly (by
    a servlet), it is a special one that displays the logo in different
    language on different computers. If the mozilla mailer insists on
    attaching the logo, then everyone sees the mailed logo in my language only!

    Is it possible to force mozilla not to attach the pictures?

  2. I would avoid sending anything other than plain text.
