avid/macpro

    hello, i have purchased a macpro zorkstation and would like to run windows xp
    and take advantage of my avid editing system. does anyone know if the windows
    xp 64 would be a good choice for me? does anyone if windows xp 64 works with
    the avid on the macpro? thanks a lot i appreciate your help...

    No, XP Pro x64 will not work for you until Apple writes Mac drivers for XP
    x64. Under Boot Camp 1.1 beta the only drivers available are for XP SP2.
    Since they are 32bit drivers they will not work in x64. I am currently
    running XP Pro SP2 on a partition on my MacBook Pro. That works just fine.
