Does anybody have experience with the airPoint Pro Outdoor model? I'm
interested in how it is working out.

They look like rugged units. I just saw found them online tonight and was
    curious how well they work.

Are they exposed to the weather?

How long have you had them?

    How many clients on each?

Are you using the power over ethernet feature?

What is the longest shot you are transmitting?

How bad of a storm was it to knock the one out?

  3. 2½ - 3½ months.
Two make up a backhaul. One has only a few clients, varies between 2 and
    5. The other has about 13 or so, adding to it just about every week.
Not much choice if you're going to use these.
Two and a half miles with excellent RSSI and LQ.
It didn't take a direct hit, but the lightning was nearby. I now use
lightning arrestors on every outdoor install (except with the
smartBridges Total units, supposedly no need to).

You should head over to and suscribe to the smartBridges
