Annoying "Killed by Signal 1" message using SFTP

    I'm using Perl's Net::SFTP::Foreign::Compat module (otherwise a great
    module indeed!) to get and put some files. It works fine, except that
    at the end of the job it generates a "killed by signal 1" message.
    This is extremely annoying, as this job runs in crontab, and generates
    mail each time. Any way to get rid of it?

    I understand it's not really an important message, so it can be safely
    ignored. However I do not wish to redirect STDERR to /dev/null or
    something like that, as there may be important error messages I'd like
    to get.

    Any help please?
    Thanks.
