Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is an American e-commerce company
based in Seattle, Washington. It was one of the first major companies
to sell goods over the Internet and was one of the iconic stocks of
the late 1990s dot-com bubble. After the bubble burst, Amazon faced
skepticism about its business model, but it made its first annual
profit in 2003. Founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994, and launched in 1995,
Amazon.com began as an online bookstore but soon diversified its
product lines by adding VHSs, DVDs, music CDs, MP3s, computer
software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys,
and more. Amazon has established separate websites in Canada, the
United Kingdom, Germany, France, China, and Japan. It ships globally
on selected products. Please click here for further details

This sort of spam is not permitted by the Amazon Associates program. It
can result in your Amazon associates account being canceled.

I see five new messsages in r.p.d in the past 12 hours. All of them
are photography-related except yours, which is a response to spam.

If you were filtering posts from googlegroups, you wouldn't have
seen the offending message and 100% of the new messages this morning
    would have been photography-related.

    Please get with the program.

Actually, at least I'm doing something to help stop the spam. Geez, you
actually took the time to write a three paragraph, content-free response
to my post. If anyone needs to get with the program it's you.

Here is the response I received from Amazon after bringing the spam to
    their attention:

Thank you for writing to Amazon.com and for bringing this to our
    attention.

We were unaware of this AssociateÂ’s intention to advertise in this
manner and would certainly never have pre-approved it. We do not use
nor tolerate the use of spamming as an advertising method. We will
contact the offender immediately and put a stop to this.

With over a million Associate web sites enrolled in our program, it is
difficult to entirely prevent this kind of abuse. However, help like
yours is invaluable as we work to ensure that the Amazon.com
Associates Program continues to run smoothly.

Thank you again for reporting this to the Associates Program.

    Best regards,
