aironet 1200 ap: disable web-configuration for wlan

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Sebastian Widmann, Feb 24, 2005.

  1. hi there!

i've got an aironet 1200 accesspoint and i want to disable the
http-configuration-tool for the wlan-site, so that you need a
cable-connection to the accesspoint to configure it (or the console cable).
    how may i realize that?

    best regards
    sebastian

Put an ACL on the WLAN interface blocking inbound traffic from any to
the IP address of the AP. (So you can't telnet/ssh from WLAN into the AP
    too!) or only for 80/tcp.

You can simply disable the http server and use the CLI via ssh.
