I'm an experienced C++ programmer, who's worked mostly on Unix. So ADO.NET is a new thing for me. I bought Rebecca Riordan's ADO.NET Step by Step to prepare for the MCAD certification, and I will say only that I would not recommend it to developers on any level. I expect better for > . So: can anyone recommend a good book on ADO.NET that doesn't go *too* deeply into it for exam 70-316? I've got the Wrox book; their books tend to be repetitive, but the repetition might help me develop muscle memory for Visual Studio. Tony
