Please excuse a question that probably is as stupid as it sounds.

I am trying to add credit card payments to my website and have been quoted
various amounts for this service. My bank wont touch it at the moment and
world pay want something in the region of £300.

Would it be possible/acceptable to take credit/debit card details over the
phone and set up a nochex account for each payment. I have given it a little
thought and cannot really see any potentional problems. I will just set up
an alias email address and take the payment when it suits.

Hopefully my sales will increase to such a level that the bank manager might
become interested or World pay wont seem such an expense.

Many thanks in advance for any comments or opinions

PayPal is very easy to integrate into an eCommerce site.
