Would it be possible to use a Video Camera as a web cam ?
on Windows XP & internet Exp. + OE. On dial-up Internet .
Or is this just a dream at this Time?

I have over $ 200:00 web cam that is an horrible burden to
    Humanity it has to go.
The problems? Inside the living room I have to shine lights on
my face to have an acceptable quality of pictures.
The other day I took it outside in bright daylight to take some
still pictures of the snow and the house, none turned out
they were all overexposed ,no automatic exposure.
I phoned the Co. and explained the problem.
The answer was , Sorry it did not meet your requirements.
    Thanks in advance!! *Micio*.

You could use one as long as tape was rolling. Most cam corders shut off after a
few minutes on pause. I use my Canon Powershot A70. It was designed for use as a
web cam and regular 3.2 megapixel digital camera.
