    Title: Technical Instructor - Telecommunications - IP / WAN / CCIE /


    PROCOM Ottawa has a client who is seeking an experienced Technical
    Instructor - Telecommunications - IP / WAN / CCIE / CSCI for a 6 month
    contract. As a contractor you will be required to provide
    instructor-led training and eLearning blended learning training
    support, courseware development support and lab setup/maintenance on
    products. Travel is required up to 75% (domestic and international).
    Highly effective oral presentation skills required as well as being
    able to work well independently as well as part of a large team effort
    with the ability to communicate highly complex information in a
    simplified format.

    * Extensive experience in the telecommunications field
    * Expert level experience working as a technical instructor
    * Prefer experience with major telecommunications providers in service,
    support or field functions.
    * Strong background and proven experience in Networking design and
    deployment, IP and WAN.
    * Previous experience implementing QoS and MPLS networks
    * Experience in areas such as internetworking principals relating to
    configuration, design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of
    multi-protocol, multi-media, router, bridged, and switched environments
    * Experience with LAN Media expertise including Ethernet, Token Ring
    and FDDI
    * WAN environment expertise including SLIP, PPP, HDLC, SDLC, Frame
    Relay, X.25, ISDN, and ATM.
    * Protocols expertise includes TCP/IP, Novell (IPX), Banyan Vines, XNS,
    DECnet, Appletalk and OSI CLNP/CLNS

    * Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) and CSCI (Cisco Systems
    Certified Instructor ) are assets

    Contract Length: 6 months

    Start date: May 30, 2005

    Rate: Negotiable (commensurate with experience)
