Hi I'm new in cisco stuff, I purchased new brand sealed router 1760-V and VIC-2FXS. The router not recognise this card. I don't know that's the problem....... I tried change slots, PVDM-256K-4 is inside, I changed software to 12.3, but nothing, it's UNKNOWN. I purchased both products on EBAY, from not-certified sellers. Please help me solve this problem. Okay, so it must see a PVDM is you have PMem allocated. Do you have a VIC-2FXS or a VIC2-2FXS (ie. new generation of them)? The docs for the VIC2-2FXS say that you need version 12.2(15)XL, 12.3(4)T, 12.3(4)XG or 12.3(5) in order to run the VIC2-2FXS in the 1760. The VIC-2FXS should work in any version of code that the 1760 can run. Otherwise, there's a tech note labeled "Troubleshooting Unrecognized Voice Interface Cards on Cisco 1750, 1751, and 1760 Routers" (ID: 5711) that you can search for off cisco.com and it might be able to help.
