1 Long beep, 2 short beeps

I just put together a new computer. When I booted, there was no video,
and there were no beeps. When I take out the RAM, I get one long beep
and two short beeps. My system board is ASUS AV8-VM, so I guess Award
BIOS. I know that this error is for video. I tried installing the
PCI-E card I got, and it goes back to the no beep and no video. I
would think that by removing the RAM I would get a RAM error though.
Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Double check the case wire connections. Test the RAM as even new RAM can
    be bad.

That's a video adapter failure on an Award BIOS.
