Yoper Linux released.

  1. Yoper 2010 (Dresden) released.
    A New Zealand Distribution from Auckland. Founded by Andrias Girardet
    (aka Andrias Hamberger) with lead developer, Tobias Gerschner.
    Yoper is a distribution for PCs with i686 or higher processors. It can
    be used for both desktops and servers. It uses hardware recognition tools
    from Knoppix. The distribution is scratch-built as opposed to modifying
    one of the more popular distributions to create a new distribution.
