Of the multiple spam arriving in my new Yahoo-Xtra inbox over the past
few days, all but a handful have been labeled by my spam catcher
(MailWasher) as already being "Origin Blacklisted by SpamCop."

In other words, the bulk of spam which Yahoo's filters is marking as
good has already made it onto a major blacklist.

So why isn't Yahoo utilising this list or providing the same kind of
    service? Beats me.

In any event, I've decided to take Aaron's advice and get a reliable
pop3 email service from one of the outfits he suggested:
http://www.fastmail.fm . However, I will still file a complaint with
the Commerce Commission re: Xtra's failure to provide a reasonable
service or fulfil their service agreement with me.
