XP-safe mode

    For windows XP.
    Should device manager show the IDE controllers(primary AND
    secondary)to be PIO enabled only,due to the nature of the safe mode
    boot??
    Because it is.

    Not necessarily due to using Safe mode, but that's often the case in XP.
