XP Restarts

    Have loaded Windows XP and it starts find but only runs for a few minutes
    and I get an error box,,, initiated by NT Authority/system,,,,, RPC,,, and
    it counts down and restarts,,, how can I correct this problem?

    Dont quote me on this but it sounds like a virus if you need to override the
    shut down open the command prompt and do a shutdown -a it will about the
    shutdown
