Is it ok to install XP onto a Hard Drive formatted in FAT32

What are the potential problems if it can be installed?

    Thanks

No problems at all with XP on a FAT32 drive, except that XP will not
create new FAT32 partitions larger than 32 gb nor will it format an
existing FAT32 partition larger than 32 gb.

It will however use a FAT32 partition of up to 128 gb that has been
created and formatted by other means.

Note that FAT32 partitions should not exceed 128 gb (4.1 million
clusters at 32K per cluster) because of limititions in many Windows
utilities. They can be created under some circumstances but problems
very often ensue when they are in use.

    Good luck
