XP File Delete creates multiple copies

    Two friends of mine have independently asked why when they
    select a group of files in the folder using Ctrl + click,
    then do File/Delete, they get multiple copies of the files
    in the folder and on the desktop. I can't replicate the
    problem. Anyone know what's happening? Thanks.

    they should stop slightly moving the mouse whilst holding the ctrl key..
    that makes copies of all marked items.. give em a beer to stop shaking ;)
