x64 on Boot Camp?

  1. Does anyone know if intel Macs use 64 bit processors, and whether it is
possible to load Windows x64 Edition on them under Boot Camp?

  2. The new Macs use the Core 2 Duo cpu. XP x64 would install but Apple has not
released any Mac drivers for XPx64 (nor for any Vista editions). Even if
you installed x64 many of the Apple XP drivers for Mac hardware would not
work. That means everything from video to keyboard. The Mac drivers for XP
are included in the Boot Camp software and the Assistant creates a drivers
cd that you then run on XP.
