x64 compatibility with VB.net standard version 2003

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?Tm9ybSBDYW5hZGE=?=, Feb 23, 2006.

  1. Just adjusting to my new AMD 64 athlonx2 driven Windowsx64 S/S- loaded my
VB.net standard version 2003 and will not load software. Appears in error
message this software not compatible with x64. Appears from gandering at this
site that there are many such issues with x64. Unfortunate. Anyone have any
constructive comments re the VB.net issue? Thank you. norm in Canada.

  3. Thats strange, it was reported that Visual Studio .NET 2003 and even Visual
Studio 6 is compatible. I am not sure whats going on, but have you tried
    running it in compatibility mode?
