WirelessProvisioningService and Windows Zero Configuration Service

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by Xiaoguang Wang, Apr 1, 2005.

  1. Hi

I've got a problem trying to add a wireless profile.

The current WPS interface only gives one method: createProfile() which fails
when the SSID already exists in the prefered list. My application needs to
update the profile in this case to keep the wireless connection.

Is there a way to 'update' or 'delete' an existing wireless profile? It
seems the profiles are managed by Windows Zero Configuration Service but I
    don't know how it works.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Xiaoguang
