Wireless Security

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?U0NM?=, Apr 3, 2006.

  1. I have a general question regarding wireless security.

I am currentlty running a wireless network using wep encryption and looking
to make it more secure by moving to moving to wpa or possibly use a radius
    server.

I am currently using wireless print servers (WPS). I have discovered that
the WPS will only use WEP. Is it possible to mix WEP and WPA?

    Kind regards

    Phill

    Hi
Unfortunately all Wireless security settings have to be the same. I.e. you
need to use the Highest common that is available.
