wireless router

  1. I have a desktop PC and a laptop that both have Windows XP SP2. After reading
about others problems I am asking for opinions as to what will be the least
expensive way to set up a home wireless network . I have ROADRUNNER for
internet that connects through a Voice over IP modem via ethernet. All I want
to do is share the internet connection, I don't want to share printers/files.
    Do I need 802.11B,G??
