Wireless Router Placement?

    Up high. Can't answer the wall bit because it depends on your wall.

  3. The lower the number of walls and ceilings/floors the signal has to pass
    through, the better. Setting up the router in a higher location should only
    be applicable if you have PCs on an upper floor to connect to the network.
    Best case scenario (when reasonable) is to have the router somewhat centrally
    located for all computers logging into the network.

    If you are using the default Omni Antenna, best location is high above the
    system 2/3 of the distance to the ceiling, in the Middle of the room. (
