wireless issue with vista and 360 extender perleasse help !!

  1. Ok im trying to setup media centre extender between my xbox 360 and pc using
    netgear router with a vista media centre premium here goes..
    computer is connected wirelessly to my netgear router on my wireless network
    my xbox is connected via cable to the wireless router i cant get the
    extender setup my guess is because they are both maybe on different networks
    i.e my pc is connected to the wireless part of the router and the xbox is
    being labelled different? am i wrong i just cant get it setup at all any
    ideas??!??!

    1. which netgear router? what hardware revision and what firmware
    version?

    2. what error messages do you see - when and where?

    3. please post the text results of ipconfig /all from the host
    computer

    Yap, using such a topology your X-Box forms a second network with second
    Network card, and you need to use Windows ICS for additional Routing.
    It would work but it is usually results in a Quirky Connection. You are much
    better off investing in a Wireless X-Box card.
