Wireless enabling XP on Virtual PC

Does anyone know how to get a wireless internet connection on XP running on
Virtual PC? I have set up XP Pro SP2 running over Vista Ultimate on a
wireless-enabled Toshiba laptop using a Thomson router to connect through
Explorer and my ISP, Aol. Microsoft told me XP SP3 would do the trick, so I
spent the afternoon downloading and installing it - but of course it doesn't.
I don't know whether the XP desktop on Virtual PC would see an ethernet
connection to the router but I don't want to do that if I can help it because
it messes up the wireless on the router and I have to keep resetting it.
I'm using the VPC environment to run a specialist app that doesn't like
Vista and I may have to send direct from XP so I'm keen to get it going if I
    can.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help I get.

  2. Hi
Virtual PC (VPC) has a "Fixed" set of emulated devices. The Network
connection of the VPC is a wired Intel 10/100 NIC.
If the Host computer's connection is Wireless the VPC would use this
connection, but it would be used a though it is wire connection since the
VPC has a wire NIC and can not handle direct Wireless connection.

Vista has "application compatibility toolkit" that can help
run that app even without VPC.
