winxp patches on cd

    Hi all
    is there anyware to get all windows xp patches (up to now) on cd?
    I know lots of people who havn't installed any and they now face big
    downloads

    It really doesn't take that long to download, and you can pause and restart.

    XP SP1a is available as a download for network installations.
    https://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/
    If you burn it on a CD you can give it to all those people
    Then Windows Update is just a small topup.

    Its not to big some 40 megs..

    It would be good if Netguide put all of the patches on their cover disc
    every few months.. I'd rather pay 3-4 dollars for that then download 40 mb +
    and get a mag as well.

    With my fresh XP install, + SP1 & IE6-SP1 installed.... Windows update now
    gives me 27 critical & security updates.... We must be well overdue a SP2.

    Contact Microsoft Services on 0800 800 004 and they can post you a CD with
    the patches for MS03-26 for no charge
    The CD they are distributing also includes NT4SP6a, Win2000SP4, and
    WinXPSP1a
    I will reply back here shortly with their email address for ordering too.

    They will likely have a new CDROM available next week which will include a
    much broader set of patches too. I will reply back here in 24-28 hours when
    we have some more details.

    SP2 is been delayed to Q3 2004..

    yeah i mentioned netguide as an alternative being cheap and all. Give me a
    pc world anyday :p
