winxp only lets me save bitmap images

    For some reason when I'm trying to save a pic I'm only given the option of
    saving it as a bitmap? No choice for saving it as a jpeg or anything
    else???
    This is win xp prof.

    what program ?

    did you try and save as .jpeg ?

    Yeah if that don't work empty the recyle bin
