To operate sfc /scannow I need to insert a WinXP Home SP1 CD. I dont
have one, I did an online update. How can I get one or is there a
    workaround.

I was having problems with hyperlinks and localhost on OE so I did
    Restore,
accidentally to the time when I had a missing marscore.dll.
I've downloaded it,unzipped and drag and drop to System32. Search
confirms its there but its not being picked up, hence the need to do
sfc /scannow, before I do a Restore further back in time.

I dont have a WinXP Home CD but I borrowed one, it didnt work and then
I re read the error message which asked for the SP1 version.
    So I'm snookered, I'm in a catch22 situation here.

    Any suggestions anyone?
