windows xp kindly remembers the password associated with USERNAME every time
    I dial the ISP.
My Question:-When the DUN window activates it shows the username & a number
of **** where the password is. WHY are ther more asterisks than the
characters I typed for the password?

    1 guess,
It's easier for someone looking over your shoulder to guess a pw if the
number of * is the same as the length of the pw (if you are typing it in
or not) . So simply make it appear longer.

<snip> useless broken avg sig and it's not email either.
